BELhospice Alumni Club held an expert meeting on 13th December at „Prue Dufour“ education centre. Dr. Natasa Milicevic held a lecture on a theme „Application of subcutaneous infusion and syring drivers in palliative care“. This meeting was accredited by the Serbian Health Council.
The meeting was attended by 27 professionals who are in their health institutions involved in the provision of palliative care for cancer patients with advanced stages of illness.
During lecture they were able to learn about all the specifics related to the use of subcutaneous infusion and syring drivers, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for their implementation and to share experiences.
Participants rated this topic as relevant and important to the quality and efficient provision of palliative care and that it would be useful to hold such lectures in other communities and institutions.
