In the period from January the 27th to February 24th BELhospice Centre organised a palliative care course for the employees of the Social protection institution for adult and elderly accommodation, who work with people who suffer from incurable diseases. There are 25 participants – social workers, nurses and doctors who sucessfully completed this program.
This training accredited by the Health Council of Serbia course was organized in cooperation with the Association of Private Institutions of Social Protection, and was conducted in duration of 5 days.
BELhospice plans to continue with this type of trainings as there are more and more people suffering from incurable diseases are accommodated in the social welfare institutions.
The course was lectured by prim. Dr Nataša Miličević, Dr Leonida Đukanović, social worker Mijodrag Bogićević and psychologist Tamara Klikovac and were highly rated by all attendants.
