Meet Anita, a volunteer of the BELhospice center for children and a master’s student in clinical psychology, who has found her life call.<\/p>\n
Every week, she visits a brave boy with West syndrome. His joy and smile while listening to Anita’s voice, while reading to him, talking to him and feeding him, touched us all. <\/p>\n
Anita is much more than a volunteer – she is part of the family. Her support in daily activities and accompaniment to physical therapy is invaluable for the boy and his family, who are immensely grateful for her love and care. <\/p>\n
This wonderful volunteering experience not only brought joy to the boy and his family, but also helped Anita overcome her fears and prejudices.<\/p>\n
“We are all human and have the right to life and happiness no matter who we are,” Anita points out.<\/p>\n
