It is the thread that connects everyone who supports our daily work with patients and their families.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month, we are weaving that thread in kilometres. From 15 October, every participant\u2019s kilometres add up to one shared thread. Each week, we will show on our social media how much it has grown.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why palliative care?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palliative care is a holistic approach to looking after people with incurable illnesses \u2013 at home, surrounded by family, from the very first day of the diagnosis.
