On May 17 2017 the Student Conference of the Universities of Serbia (SCUS) under the patronage of the Foundation of HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic and in partnership with BELhospice organised the Spring Student Ball Be There! in the White Palace and gathered the best students of Serbia.
The SCUS gave a charitable character to this event and supported BELhospice capital campaign #BeThere with aim to build the first inpatient hospice in Serbia.
At this event, they accomplished to raise 41,430 RSD. What is more, the fundraising activities will be continued with placement of 52 donation boxes at eight Universities in Serbia in the period of three months.
During winter semester, BELhospice team will conduct a series of lectures aimed at raising awareness of students and university professors in regard to palliative care.
