Friday 5th December 2014 was one more memorable day at BELhospice center. Creative workshop was held where patients, together with volunteers were making Christmas decorations and greeting cards, and volunteers who have done more than two hundred hours of volunteering with patients, were given special acknowledgments of thanks.

Just like on every other creative workshop held at our center, good atmosphere and creativity were present. With smiles, feeling relaxed, with singing and Daniel’s guitar, small works of art have come about. By using different techniques, different decoration items were made for the Christmas tree, room decorations, snowflakes, crowns and beautiful greeting cards. Patients and volunteers were competing who will make more creative decoration or greeting card, while the employees of the BELhospice center were unsuccessfully trying to follow in their pace.

The aim of BELhospice creative workshops is to reactivate social life of the patient; to help our patients to for at least few hours turn their thoughts from their disease to something creative and to spend time outdoors, in a pleasant atmosphere . We are looking forward to our upcoming New Year’s tea party.
