BELhospice staff have had the honor and privilege to meet lymphoedema specialist Tamara Košević from London, during her brief visit to the BELhospice center. Tamara works at St. George’s NHS Hospital – Lymphoedema Service in London, and is the sole lymphoedema specialist in this part of Europe.

Despite her very tight schedule, Tamara found time to visit BELhospice, and donate several Farrow Wraps (lymphoedema equipment) for different parts of the body. During the meeting our medical staff had the opportunity to ask Tamara’s advice concerning the use of the equipment she donated, as well as concerning the handling of different complex situations that arise in their field work.

The meeting ended with preliminary arangements concerning future cooperation, to our mutual pleasure. We would like to thank Tamara Košević for the time which she set aside for us, as well as the equipment we received, and we look forward to our future cooperation.
