Serbian Economists Association with its president Aleksandar Vlahovic and Kopaonik Business Forum supported BELhospice campaign for establishing of the first in-patient hospice in Serbia. In November 2015 BELhospice has started campaign Be There! for establishing the first in-patient hospice in Serbia for terminally ill cancer patients with symptoms which are hard to manage through home care. Receiving specialized in-patient palliative care will significantly contribute to better quality of life for both patients and their families.

This charity campaign was presented to forum participants by members of Honorary Patrons board, Philip Pinnington, Canadian ambassador in Serbia, Leo D’aes, Belgium ambassador in Serbia, Jasmina Knezevic (Belmedic), Ivana Todorovic (BELhospice) and Marko Dedic (Scholz & Friends) who also reminded that corporate support is of tremendous significance.
Traditionally, the Forum is organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and this year’s edition gathered a record of 750 participants – Serbian and foreign business people, diplomats, business analysts, international experts and more than 100 accredited journalists from Serbia and abroad.
