On 26th November, BELhospice organised 8th BELhospice Charity Ball ˝Let’s bond for the ones in need˝ at Hyatt Regency Hotel. With the support of representatives of diplomatic cord and corporate sectore as well as numerous individuals, this event raised 134,000 EUR and these funds will be used to cover the costs of BELhospice centre as well as the Day care services which will be provided in the first hospice in Serbia.

During the evening, guests had the opportunity to enjoy performances of the Academy of Arts’ students while hosts of the night Marija Kilibarda and Slavko Beleslin made the entire evening unforgettable for all guests thanks to proper film moment with Voja Nedeljković.

On this occasion, we traditionally presented the BELhospice Champion Awards for companies and individuals that made special contribution to BELhospice work in the previous year. This year’s winner were BENU apoteka, Bel Medic, Despotika winery, KPMG as well as Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade, Mr. Milan Matkovic, Mr. Dragan Ciric Zeka, Mr. Ivica Koren, Mr. Vojislav Lazarevic, Mr. Milos Hamovic, Mrs. Rikke Villadsen, Mr. Graham Perolls, Dr. Natasa Milicevic and H.E. Leo d’Aes.

BELhospice Charity Ball attended the ambassadors of Belgium, Great Britan, Switzerland, Turkey, Australia and India, as well as the Head of the Council of Europe Mission to Serbia and Irish Honorary Consul. This event was organised with the support of companies BEKO Balkans, Harrisons, Vojvodjanska banka, Muehlbauer, Manpower Srbija, Piraeus bank, Bel Medic, Hyatt Regency Belgrade, Mirabank, I&F McCANN Grupa, KPMG, Banca Intesa, Henkel, Addiko bank, TeleGroup, GlaxoSmithKline, Telekom Srbija, Generali insurance, Opportunity bank, Veolia, DHL, Apatinska pivara, Raiffeisen bank, ACB and BENU apoteka.

Thanks to incredible support of Hyatt Regency Hotel, Marsh Production company and enthusiasm of Academy of Arts’s team, this year’s ball will be remembered for many years to come. L’Artisan, Winery Despotika and Johnnie Walker were there with us again this year.
