On the 19th October, in the hotel Hyatt Regency, BELhospice organized the 4th Charity Ball entitled „The Roaring 20’s“, which was attended by 220 guests, representatives of the corporative sector, diplomatic corps and individuals that help and support the BELhospice team in providing care for terminally ill cancer patients. Among the other guests, there were also present Dr. Perisa Simonovic, State Secretary for Health, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport , as well as the ambassadors of Canada, Norway, France and Turkey.

Besides Actavis company, which was again the main sponsor of the event, the organisation of the Ball was supported by Raiffeisen Bank, Muehlbauer, Hyatt Regency, Birač Communications, Tomcat’s wine cellar, Florist Meri, Johnnie Walker and Grafix.
The presence of company representatives such as Telekom Srbija, Ball Packaging, Nikolic-Karanovic, Executive Group, Victoria Group, VIP mobile, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Pharmanova, Telegroup, Mona, Epilion, ESI, Montprojekt, Metropol Palace, Center for Estethic Dentistry and Implantology “Cvijiceva 38”, Health Center Vizim, ACB, English Pot, British International School, have helped raise necessary funds.

The atmosphere of the 20’s was evoked by the Viva Vox Choir, and the work of BELhospice was artistically presented through magnificent performances of SandPro studio and dance group UV Dance. Famous TV director, Timothy John Byford, shared with other guests his intimate story and reminded everybody how important the work of BELhospice is, as well as the overall development of palliative care in Serbia.

The total of 23.000 euros was raised at BELhospice Charity Ball, which will be used for care of the most seriously ill cancer patients in Belgrade.
