For the 8th of March, the Interntional Women’s Day, BELhopice organised the 4th Charity Bowling Tournament, held at the Kolosej Bowling Centre inside Ušće Shopping Centre. This humanitarian action was supported by both national and international companies, and their teams were comprised of ladies: Actavis, Apatin Brewery, Inel, Pharmacity, Roche, Adecco, Unicredit Bank, Executive Group, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, BDK legal office, and one team of lady journalists.[separator top=“40″]
All the ladies had fun and showed exceptional bowling skills. The winner of the tournament was the Apatin Brewery Team, with excellent playing and most points. The Inel team came second, and the Pharmacity team won the third place, a bit unexpected, while the best single competitor was Mrs Kristina Vlajinac-Deletić, from Inel.[separator top=“40″]
All the ladies received appropriate gifts for the International Women’s Day, and the winners of the tournament received trophies. After the award ceremony, Zoran Purković, Director of the BELhospice centre, thanked all the ladies who participated in the tournament, as well as their companies, for expressing humanity. Zoran Purković highlighted the significance of their support and underlined that this bowling tournament raised 6.000 Euros, which will be enough to cover the expenses of one registered nurse in home-care for the period of 7 months.[separator top=“40″]
