5-a-side footbal tournament BELhospice 2017 Powered by Bambi was held on suthurday 24th June at football pitches of the Sport Sentre of Serbian Football Association in Stara Pazova. This event raised 17,500 EUR to support the work of BELhospice in providing palliative care for cancer patients in adnvanced stages of their illness.
Competitors for the this year’s BELhospice Trophy were the companies: Bambi, Generali Osiguranje, Apatinska pivara, Piraeus Bank, Polimark, KPMG, TeleGroup, Coca-Cola HBC Srbija, Muehlbauer, Bel Medic, SAGA, I&F McCann Grupa, Credit Agricole bank, Telenor, Dental Plaza i BELhospice tim.
Champion of the BELhospice 2017 Powered by Bambi football tournament is the team of Dental Plaza. They played the finals against excellent team of TeleGroup and won with the result of 4:2. Third place was won by the team of Telenor. Igor Jancevski from Dental Plaza team won the best goalgetter title.
We would like to thank the Sport Centre of the Serbian Football Association for hosting this tournament third year in the row.
We would also like to thank all the players and fans who shown fair play and sport behaviour, eventhough being out on pitches at tropical heat, as well as to the comentators duo Igor Brakus and Smiljan Banjac who thrilled the participants and their humorous match reporting.
Big thanks to the Lawyers office Karanovic-Nikolic, Intersport, Infostud and Rent Event for supporting the organisation of the tournament and also to the ambulance team of Bel Medic general hospital for medical support of the tournament.
