From the 12th to the 15th of November, in the premises of the BELhospice Center, 13th training course was held for the new BELhospice volunteers which was successfully completed by 17 candidates. This is the second training within the project „Day Care Centre of the first Hospice in Serbia“.
All participants had the opportunity to acquire the most basic knowledge about history, principles and goals of palliative care in four days, as well as the medical, social, psychological and spiritual aspect of care. The participants also had the opportunity to hear the experiences and opinions of long-standing BELhospice volunteers.
The BELhospice volunteering service is getting richer and more important and provides us with immense help and support in all our activities.
The BELhospice project “Day Care Centre of the first Hospice in Serbia” received support in the framework of the grant scheme “Development of efficient community services in the area of education and social protection at the local level” implemented through partnership cooperation of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia – Sector for Contracting and Financing Programs from funds from the European Union, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy and the European Union.
