BELhospice with partnering organization SUPRAM has conducted the survey with aim to identify the needs and barriers of the patients with life limiting illnesses.
This survey was conducted within a project „Advancing human rights through improved palliative care services“ financed and supported by The Balkan Trust for Democracy of the German Marshall Fund of the United States and Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade
Recommendations for improved implementation of the services based on needs and basic patients’ rights in accordance with the law are defined.
This will be a base for further advocacy to improve better quality of life of patients in need of palliative care.
