The premises of BELhospice Center held its first artistic and creative workshop. Patients, along with BELhospice staff and volunteers had the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and various artistic talents.
People suffering from oncological diseases are not only patients, but unique personalities with individual characteristics, traits, habits and talents. Serious illness often leads people to social isolation and to radical changes from their former way of life. The aim of this workshop was to facilitate social re-activation, friendship and affirmation of different creative and artistic talents of our patients .
Within the friendly and relaxed atmosphere participants painted, drew, sculpted, recited poems, made objects and ornaments from paper, clay and wool. Patients, staff and volunteers of BELhospice Center had an opportunity to show each other their various creative and artistic aptitude and skills.
