On the occasion of the forthcoming Easter celebration, on the 12th of April, 2017, a traditional workshop for patients was organized at the premises of the BELhospice Center.
BELhospice Center staff together with volunteers and patients, had the opportunity to express their creativity and skills in making Easter greeting cards and decorating eggs.
The goal of a creative workshop is to reactivate the social life of patients and reduce social isolation, which also leads to an improvement in patients quality of life.
The specific goals of the workshop are emotional and psychological relaxation, prevention and reduction of total suffering, creating an atmosphere of trust among patients, volunteers and team members, encouraging patient’s creativity and motivation for personal engagement in the field of maintaining social relations and sociability.
The Easter workshop was attended by 14 participants.
A creative workshop for patients, on the occasion of the forthcoming Easter, was realized thanks to the support of the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.
