„Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on. Shared memories never fade away just because our loved one is gone … For as long as we have memories, they will continue to live in our hearts. “ With these verses our workshop” Remembrance Day“ has started.
As part of BELhospice program for the support to family members in the process of bereavement, on Friday evening 20 November 2015, a workshop „Remembrance Day“ was held. Participants had an opportunity to get familiar with the basic stages, the length and the most common emotions that accompany the grieving process, and then to remember the most important personality traits of loved ones, as well as interesting and funny events.
The workshop was attended by ten participants, led by psychologist Tamara Klikovac, and additional support to participants of the workshop was provided by social worker Mijodrag Bogićević, and theologians Jovan Blagojevic and Katarina Davidovic Marotto.
The workshop was organized with the support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.
