Others about us
Dear all,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have done for my father. Considering that I found out about you by chance and that from the head nurse of oncology at VMA, I turned to you at the same moment with a request to help me.
As I did not know that there was such a wonderful association and that someone thought of such patients, at that moment I saw salvation in you. The first contact was with Ljubica, a voice I will never forget because she instilled in me all the trust in the world, then Dad came to see Dr. Ivon and technician Djordje.
A big thank you to Doctor Ivona for visiting my father and trying in every way to help him, as well as Djordje. In the end, we meet a wonderful woman, Verica – a caregiver, who raises my dad, both mentally and physically. All words are superfluous about Verica, because there are simply no words of gratitude that I could thank her for. As much as she helped my dad, she lifted me up mentally. I will always have a etched memory, Dad’s smile every time he sees her. Verica is someone who will remain a friend of this house as well as Dr. Ivona and Djordje, because while all the doctors gave up on my dad, they were there.
I could write you a novel here, because I don’t know how and in what way I can thank you, the only thing I know is that you will forever be in my heart and I will be happy to recommend you further, I just sincerely hope that in my near such a problem as my dad had, I will not have. I am very sorry that you are not recognized by the state, but as someone who is very honored to be the daughter of such a man, ie. such a great man as my father and how he fought for justice all his life, helped people, I will continue on that path and try in every way to help you.
Finally, once again, a BIG THANK YOU for coming into Dad’s life.
Best Regards,
Dear all, I would like to express my great satisfaction with the exceptional organization of your work.
Special praise for Dr. Gordana Simić and nurse Ljubica Kostić.
Their selfless help, advice and support, so that my father could bear his illness as easily as possible, is immeasurable.
Thanks a lot!
With respect,
Dear Dr. Ivona,
I would like to express my gratitude for every moment you spared for us.
You provided us with great support, precise and clear explanations about everything that was unclear to us, guidelines… You provided us with all that and showed great concern for us.
My father M.I. encountered this wicked disease (pancreatic cancer) in his 60th year. The diagnosis was confirmed at the Emergency Center in May 2019. The tumor could not be operated on because it invaded the portal vein. At the consultation, it was advised to start X-ray radiation, emphasizing that it was the best therapy for him. However, we learn that at that moment the Clinical Center does not have software for the pancreas, so it still does not perform radiation on the X-knife. Apparently, the software was not expected until September.
We learned about private HT therapy. The same was started immediately, because it was presented to us as the most effective, and they could not offer the same protocol in the clinical center. We did not receive any follow-up of the patient, nor did we receive any inquiries about the condition from the clinic, which we paid very dearly for. We still wonder today if they keep any statistics on survival rates or life extension.
Surprised and disappointed.
We found out about you at the beginning of 2020.
So much understanding, patience, a beautiful energy that the patient himself and we as family members experienced in contact with you.
Although we did not see each other due to the current situation with Covid, but were constantly in contact by phone, we felt your selfless support. Unfortunately our battle ended in August this year.
We want to wholeheartedly recommend the BELhospice organization, so that in this chaos of health care, more oncology patients will feel empathy, patience and a lot of nice and professional things from you.
Many thanks once again, first of all, to Dr. Ivona and all members of the BELhospice team.
Best Regards,
